Hi charan, you can use FarManager to install the theme. I’m not sure if the theme will work, as some items maybe missing from the theme

Hi tauqueer, your phone supports flash lite 1.1 menus, there are some on this site. Also, you can use FarManager to install them, or you can use XS++, but if you need help with XS++, I cannot help, so try asking members on the forum, as they have experience with this.

Hi Aravind, those themes are made for Nokia Symbian OS phones, I could convert it if I had all the icons and the background wallpaper. Also, if you want themes, which fully transform your phone such as changing font, icon layout, etc then you will need to use a ModPack. I know we have some modpacks on the forum, you could give them a try.
i need to upgrade by cedar’s software version. Is there any new software version available?
Hi Aravind, try downloading and running the Sony Ericsson Update Service, as that will check if your phone has an update.

But one thing understood that it is a kind debranding! It will cut my warrenty isn’t? My mobile is 0.8 years old, I have 1 year warrenty! Will it make my mobile to perform slower? Because already my SE Cedar is somewhat slow(i feel so) from the date of purchase! But not too slow, I am expecting more! I have SE K310i which I bought it as second hand, I will try to mod it first and then to Cedar!
Hi Aravind, I’m not an expert on installing modpacks, as to be honest, I haven’t installed one on my k850. Also, debranding may void your warranty, but chances are your phone might become faster, as it will remove all of the operator’s bloatware, and return the phone to the way Sony Ericsson originally intended it to be. Also, try asking some of the guys on the forum on how to install a modpack, as they are tend to do this and even create their own modpacks, so they are the experts, when compared to me.

how to get the source code of the flash menu? i have downloaded Adobe Flash CS3 last night and tried to change the background of the flash menu using our tutorial, but there’s noting in the library!
and the latest version of SE Theme Creator doesn’t have my Mobile(Cedar)!
now i need to customize flash menu as i like it!

Hi Aravind, to get the source code of a flash menu, Google “swf decompiler” and you will find one. Alternatively, you could use the Custom Menu Creator, since it may not be worth the extra time and effort, if you are simply changing the background image of the flash menu.
Also, the SE Theme Creator doesn’t have an option for Cedar, however just select Elm from the list, and create the theme, as this will work on your phone.

First i’m greatly thankful to you about all your work. And i’d be very greatful to you if you could do me this favour. Please can you create a digital, with seconds clock in a clear font? Mine is se c510. And i’d need to load it’s background from an external image. Such as sample.png, and any picture with the name and format would be set as the background. I don’t know if this is possible, but if you can add it to load the font size and font colour from an external xml file that’d be really great. (Font size in pixels height and font colour from hex RGB code. Such as ffd700 for gold colour.) I’ve not got a pc but I have a xml editor and pro paint app in my phone. So please, would you do me this favour please? I’ll be really really really greatful to you if possible. Thanks really a lot..

And please, (i’m browsing with the uc browser from my phone..) may I ask another kind request? Please would you create me an alarm app? This is the idea. I need it to load a music file from the phone, and play it just like the simple built in alarm. But please make it very much motion sensitive. Your scooby do one is great, but it needs to shake so hard right? Not like that, i’d love if it is sensitive to the least motion. So that I could record some voice clip like ‘hey don’t touch my phone!’ and enter it to the app and just leave the phone. And if anybody touches it, the app will play that sound, and it’ll be like an expensive automobile antitheft system even.:-) Simple idea, and easily possible I think. If not possible using flash, could you do it in a simple java app? If it’s possible to set as wallpaper, it does the trick too. So please? Thanks alot and alot..

And possibly you might add both my requests in the same file. The swf file, a xml file, a sample background file, and a sample sound file. If possible i’ll say to add a battery level indicator too. I guarantee you this app or flash file will gain much attraction than any other creation of yours. So please consider my request would you? You might create a zip file and insert all them in there. Ah I have a unzip app too. Just telling, with some apps on, this c510 can virtually do all a pc might. And with uc, it’s not much behind a smart phone. Really!
Hi indrajth, the alarm app cannot be done because flash on the phone, is not able to load music files externally, also I haven’t come across a Java app which can be set as a wallpaper.
